Review of the film Naai Sekar: Naai Sekar, directed by Kishore Rajkumar, is a terrific idea for an entertaining film, especially one aimed towards children. The genius of this concept lies in its simplicity: what if a guy who has been bitten by a dog began to act like one, while yet displaying human characteristics.
Sekar (Sathish) is a computer programmer who falls in love with his coworker Pooja (Pavithra Lakshmi, a confident debut). Kishore Rajkumar appears to have written the script using a checklist of items he should include in a dog-related film, such as the capacity to sniff, a fondness for cookies, and the desire to urinate on a lamppost, among other things.
